Debit Card purchases

Which banks offer a debit card and issue miles on PIN Based transactions. I am finding most banks only give miles for CREDIT based transactions on a debit card. I have seen on here where some people buy money orders at USPS and get miles for that, could someone steer me in the right direction. Thank you

Good question...years ago you could buy travelers' checks from AAA using any credit card and they would be charged as a purchase...easy to see what you could do with THAT deal http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Unfortunately, the genius that milked it the most (got MILLIONS of miles by having his whole family spend many a weekend at AAA counter-signing checks), went on Dateline NBC to tell everyone of his personal perk...didnt take long at all that AAA was told to drop that right away. Now you can only use a AAA issued card for the same purpose...no perks there. If anyone knows of a credit card or debit card (without max/year mile restrictions) that can be used to buy money orders, travelers' checks, etc. that would be very interesting news. Most of the stuff in other posts refers to debit cards that give 1/2 mile for purchases (no cash/negotiables allowed) with annual mileage caps...the savings bond deal is going away with the new holding period limits and Citibank locked down their cash-transfer program to prevent mileage "abuse" (as they called it). I think it is hard to find such a card, unless you find one overseas that has looser rules and is denominated in USD.

Has anyone got one of them????

Hi all.
I have googled all over the net for the safe and sheep abilities for changing e-currency to cash. Since the New York Credit Union crash at the beginning of this year it is hard to find alternative for the G-card.
I was registered at FavoCard to get there card which as they promise will provide a quick withdrawals and e-currency exchanging services, but since the time I registered I was not able to get the card. But last week I have received the news letter telling that FavoCard visa electron debit card is available for ordering. From the time I registered the card fees have changed, but they look similar like the other cards, but have some benefits that suites me.
Has anyone already had such card? Any info will be appreciated. There is a lot of info over the internet but it is differs from site to site and it is hard to make an objective opinion.
