Geneve car show

Note that it's a good time to visit Geneve since the largest car show in Europe starts Monday.

Ooops. I didn't mean to make this a new topic. How can I delete a topic or a reply after I've posted it?

Catman Mar 1, 1999 10:47 pm

If you wanted to make this a new topic -- simply put OMNI on it since it's kind of travel related but it's not. Nice tip though.

OK FOLKS: don't flame me because I noted that this was an OMNI topic!

To edit: click on the third little icon and that will allow you to erase everything.

CatMan: I don't think you can "make disappear" an entry. I just tried that under Travelodge - but it is not accepted to delete all of one entry. If you know a way - please tell me.

That doesn't seem to work. It won't let me delete the topic. I can only edit the message. Unless I'm missing something.

OMNI!!! I received six e-mails from my friends (none who post on F-T!) who corrected me on how I worded how you "delete" an entry.

You can't "delete" the entire entry. But if you go into the entry you can erase all the wording. What will remain is the original post BLANK except "this message has been edited by Rudi."

I wish there was a way to delete the entire posting, but only the Webmasters can do it.

OK, Catman. I always thought you were the Praline Master!

the "USP" (unique selling proposition) of the Geneva car-show: it is, to my knowledge, the only big international car show in a country (Switzerland = Confoederatio Helvetica = postal-code/car-country-sign/internet-adresses CH) with no local car-industry. Which makes competition easy, fair, with no home-advantage for any carmaker!
