Mewantmoremiles, I have gone to tons of great places on the idine program (and also was surprised to find out I was in one when I was not even planning it) and yet, there are a few in the program that are not so good. At least in my experience.

Most are just fine--just like any other place, but it just SEEMED that way for me here in Boston. There are lots of pubs (like Irish bars, etc.) and in some of them, well, the food is not that great. Yet it seemed as though only the idine ones seem to have the not so great food... the others were better. Oh, maybe it was a bad two months there.

I still like the service...Just an observation I was curious about...

Regarding the types of restaurants in the idine program, I think you will find they tend to be places that can do with the extra advertising. Ofentimes, either not so popular (...) or newly opened and end up leaving the program after a while ... Just an observation from the West Coast.

On the subject of the $600 cap, you can also spread the check on several cards that you have signed up in different idine airline programs!
