All things aside, I simply think AA is much easier to redeem mile awards on.

I like UAL and my last flight with them was excellent, but I bought the tickets too. When it comes time to cash in, we shall see. Never have used an award with them yet.

Some who know me better may wonder why I say this, but I think AA is a superior carier right now for more than just mile-award reasons. And yet they have their faults as well...
