any airline malls that have amazon.com?

I shop at amazon.com and wanted to know if there was a way besides a credit card to earn miles for the purchases? Thanks in advance for any help.

I think the best way to get Amazon miles is to buy a gift certificate for them from GiftCertificates.com through one of the miles producing portals. The best deal now seems to be buying one through Northwest Airlines. With their double miles promo you get 6 miles per dollar spent there.

A list of mileage producing portals which list GiftCertificates.com as a vendor can be found on my web site below. Click on the Free Frequent Flyer Miles section, then on the Shopping section. Then scroll down to the GiftCertificates.com write-up.

I had used Giftrewards.com to get gift certificates for Amazon on Giftcertificates.com.

Giftrewards.com gives you AA points when you reach 500 of their points. I had ordered successfully thru all these portals for things like Amazon before.

I used the certs with the US Airways Bonus Bar to get points there on the remaining bal. I used a miles-earning card to get points on AA also. So 3 ways to get miles on 2 airlines. You may read my long posts in here about that. Be careful of the glicthes with free shipping and how the Bonus Bar reads this. You may have to email Dividend miles (yes, this IS kinda complicated!).

BUT:

Be careful of Amazon though:

If you have a problem with CS, it was hard for me to find the number to call them and if you do, they do not have supervisors to get put thru to. They cannot help much with huge probs if these occur.

I did have a problem because recently they charged to my EXPIRED DEBIT CARD with and anvalid bill-to address. I had an expired debit card listed on my own amazon acct that I had not yet updated. I was trying to use some gift certs (E certs) and they do not work for all purchases. So I did not see my order go thru but it somehow had! I finally got someone to try to cancel but too late.

It is a long story that I will not get into (thankfully) but when you buy or want to buy there, be watchful of a few things:
-gift certs do NOT work on all purchases
-do NOT leave any cards on the site and have the cs number handy (800-201-7575)
-keep through records.

With much pressing and calls, I ended up quitting their service. In the end, on fri after Thanksgiving (6 days after my prob started) I did get a call back from their fraud dept and they will be sending all my money back.

I still get the few miles though http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
Hope you all had a great Turkey Day for those in here who celebrate it!

How about buying from Amazon (or Marshall Fields or Mervyn's) via Target.com? Target.com is a mileage earning partner at NW Worldperks Mall.

Even though you have access to Amazon inventory, you never leave Target.com.

A good try, AndrewC75. But it won't work. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
Here's what the T&C (found at the bottom of the screen that contains the link "Shop target.com Now") says:

Miles are not earned on purchases from fields.com, mervyns.com, Amazon.com or any other site linking off of target.com.
