Yes, indeed! Fun reading while the supper roast is in the oven. They mention flyertalk.com but not Canada.

Has anyone tried similar or as close as it can get mileage run without leaving Canada?

As has been said on the mileage run forums many times, an MR in Canada is a near-impossibility. High fees and taxes and limited competition make MRs a losing game north of the 49th. Most Canadian mileage runners drive across the line and fly from the likes of SEA or BUF etc, or do long-hauls overseas.
