Any luck on Walmart gift cards with miles?
 

Many portals now have a message saying Walmart gift card purchases will not earn miles or points. I just found that Walmart is one of the merchants available at www.schoolpop.com where the rebate will go to my child's school. There was no message regarding gift cards. Has anyone used this site?

Any other ideas?

As we found out from MyPoints, Walmart doesn't give portals a commission on gift card sales, so you are unlikely to find anyone offering miles for them. If they are they are losing money and will probably stop offering miles as soon as they figure it out.

If you purchase them at Walmart with a miles card you can get miles.

I got my 1-1 points on US AIR dividend bar purchase of Walmart Giftcards using my AMEX card during the double miles promo in July. Will be doing a triple miles purchase for Oct.
