netflix 2000miles or wait for better?

well, I procrastinated and missed the netflix 2500 mile bonus by 1 day. I now see that there is a 2000 bonus on the 20th anniversary offers on aa.com.
Does anyone with past experience think the 2500 will return or should I take the 2000 and run? If this is the wrong forum.....SORRY!:)

Hard to say. But based on past experience, I'd say it will never be as good as the United bonus, which is currently 3000 through July 31 and has been 4000 in the recent past. I've never seen the AA bonus higher than 2500 yet.

I agree, the UAL offer right now is the best and, if you can use the Mileage Plus Miles, I would go ahead and take it.

Can more than one household member receive NetFlix signup bonus, not necessarily simultaneously? I would not mind to forego the free trial and have my CC charged immediately, as long as I still qualified for the bonus.

I was going to sign up. Where's the link for 2000 miles?. I could only find one for 1500 miles on aa.com

Yes. I first signed up, got the bonus and then cancelled after a month. My partner signed up for it and added APT. 1 in the address (my home address has no apartment number). He got the bonus miles too.

they are having a really hard time competing against blockbuster with its dumping prices at the moment. That could go two ways - increase marketing (and miles) or cut back in marketing until blockbuster has bled itself to death... Or they come up with a major innovation (such as working streaming video) that is much better than blockbuster...

Do you have the link for the 3,000 miles United offer? I couldn't find it on the United Forum. The best I could find was a 2,000 miles offer.

I know nothing about a 3000 mile deal, but here's the current 2000/4000 deal (found in a few seconds by Googling "United Netflix 4000", which produced a Smarter Travel site that had the link):

http://secure.unitedmileageplus.com/MP0703NFO.jsp

As you can see, it's 4000 if you pay with a United Mileage Plus credit card*, but only 2000 if you pay with any other card.

*It's not clear to me if any Mileage Plus credit card qualifies. In my case, I only have a Bronze one (the one with no annual fee). :) That only gets 1 mile per 2$ spent, so normally I just keep it in a drawer, but if it were to work for this promo I might dig it out, since the bonus miles would far outweigh the couple miles less for the actual purchase. (But OTOH I'd be real mad if I only got the 2000, which I could have gotten also at AA.)

Great Deal, thanks. I have a new (2nd card) which I'll use to sign up for this (going to cancel my BBOnline account).

Thank you for the tip. Just joined netflix. Anyone know how long it takes them to post?
