Problems with Insideflyer

Insideflyer has problems with the delivery to Germany!!

Crampedin13A Sep 14, 2002 7:37 am

Same in Canada. I only get about every third issue.Last one I got was July's.

Randy Petersen Sep 14, 2002 7:45 am

Did you contact them? Did they not try and resolve your particular problem? Can't really tell from your post whether they have a problem delivering to Germany or you are having an individual problem receing IF in Germany. Usually it's a matter of working with the many post offices that handle that magazine in between they releasing it and you receiving it. If you didn't get the assistance you wanted (after allowing them a chance to look in to and try to fix your problem) you might try writing a letter to the Editor. I think his email address is [email protected]

That's what I'd try if i had a problem with any magazine.

Same here, but let's not forget foreign subscribers only get 6 issues a year.

I do hear that the USPS has started sending much of its Europe-bound mail (mostly packages I believe) to a private delivery service in either France or Germany, causing many delays this summer.

I had a problem with my subscription. All was solved very quickly and easily by customer service.

I hadn't received my bonus book. It came via USPS priority mail 3 days after I sent my email.

Follow Randy's advise and contact customer service.

My first Contact was with Michelle`O Neill in 08/26/2002 - no delivery.

Email from Inside-Flyer Costumer Service:

I understand from your email that you miss your InsideFlyer, which leads me
to believe there is a problem with the delivery. You are set to receive the
next international copy, which is the September issue. You should have
received the July copy as well. If you are having delivery problems, please
advise.

Kind Regards,

Michelle O'Neill

I also did not receive the July-issue (my first), but did receive the book back in April.

I sent an eMail to customer service and was advised that my subscription has been extended and that I should contact them if I did not receive the September issue by September 15th. My adress was slightly misspelled however, but only to an extend that nobody in their right mind would have been unable to deliver something adressed that way.

So if it's not in my mailbox tomorrow, I'll mail Michelle again and see how we can get this resolved...

Greetings - Dirk

Kind of funny reading this post. My book is postmarked in GERMANY with pre-paid frank:

Deutsche Post - Port Paye - 60544 Frankfurt Allemagne.

This is common practice - trans shipping from countries with lower bulk mail rates than USA has. Kempis ... this is yours if you require it whilst waiting for your original one.

I took out a sub to support Randy and this great organization! However, since May I have only received 2 issues. Same problem and I live in Canada!
