iDine golf course - Chicago
 

I was surprised to check my AA account and found that I had received 450 miles for playing golf! Apparently, Bittersweet Golf Course up in Gurnee, IL is part of the iDine program, so when you charge your greens fees, it goes to iDine. Just make sure you pay for the golf before you charge that $3 drink in the bar, because it will only one charge per month. Warning to those who choose to play there: it is a great course but extremely challenging. Check out the course map on the website and you'll see! If you play at peak time and pay for your foursome, you could earn almost 3000 miles!

Anybody know if iDine is going to add more Golf Courses. (Although it would P*** the wife off major league!!)

This IS a great development. Hope it isn't a mistake, but rather a portent of things to come! If anyone else knows of golf courses who give miles it would be a retiree bonanza.

ooh, I might have to drive up there once all the mosquitoes go away! If a foursome played there every week, and rotated who paid, that would be a lot of miles over a typical 6-month Chicago golf season.

Since we're in the waning days of the Chicago golf season, any interest in having a micro-"Do" at this golf course?

(kind-of unrelated, but) something similar happened to me. I was surprised that I earned miles for parking with AviStar at ORD. They are iDine partners too..
