Well, I usually go for the best miles, but with FTD this year, using an AMEX card, you can get a 25% discount. That's enough that I will (heaven forbid) give up the miles they offer (although I still get the miles from credit card).

Delta has a 2500 miles bonus for any 1-800-flowers purchase. Some have reported shoddy customer service/mile posting. YMMV. I believe the code you'll need is DL7, but check the other forums or the Delta website to be sure.

This is a tremendous deal compared to the "regular rate" of 20mi/$ offered by UA, AA, etc. Compare for a dozen roses @ $40:
Regular rate: 40 x 20 = 800mi @ $0.05 per mile
Delta bonus: 40 x 10 = 400 + 2500 = 2900 @ $0.0138 per mile ^
As for quality, I normally check the box requesting delivery from a local florist (which is not available for all items).
