calculator?
 
is there some sort of calculator on the web that can be used to determine the number of miles awarded for a flight? i did a search and couldn't find such a resource.

There is Mileage Marker on the webflyer site (thanks RANDY http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif ). Go to the first page of FT and you can enter from there.

I humbly recommend my free MileEdge utility. It can be used offline, it's lightning fast, and it also calculates FF points earned. Has a built-in airport code search as well.

One very nice thing about mahjongguy's utility is that it's polite. It doesn't automatically put an icon in your startup menu or on your desktop. It asks for permission instead! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
