Balance Transfer
If I were to purchase $2,000 worth of savings bonds on my hotel card, then transfer the amount to a 0% no-fee Discover Card, would I still receive the miles/points on my hotel card? I hope this makes sense.

In the situation you described here you would most certainly earn the hotel points. These are considered two distinct transactions and one (balance transfer) does not interfere with the other. Nice way to start things..... |

Hmm I wonder if you received the same 0% until September 2003 Discover card offer that I got yesterday http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif I was going to do the same thing you're thinking, in order to satisfy the double points promo I got from Hilton Amex.

What double promo did you get from Hilton AMEX. I don't remember seeing any.
