CODE-SHARE MILES QUESTION ???
A QUESTION:
I'M A MEMBER OF VARIG FFLYER. I WANT TO TRAVEL FROM SYD-LAX. THERE IS A FLIGHT THAT SUITS ME AND THE BEST DEAL IS TO GET FROM AIRNEWZEALAND. THE FLIGHT , HOWEVER IS OPERATED BY UA ON A CODE-SHARE BASIS. DO I GET MY MILES WITHOU ANY HASSLES ? I RECALL SOME CODE-SHARE MILES PROBLEMS IN THE PAST FROM OTHER PEOPLE. HOW DOES THIS THING WORK ? THANKS ALL MMM |
Back in November, I flew from HNL-NAN and returned via NAN-LAX on a flight operated by Air Pacific, code shared with Quantas. I received OnePass mileage without any hesitation or delay.

I've had no problem getting credit with United for Air New Zealand flights. However, getting credit for Ansett flights has been a problem--until I discovered Hazel at the United Service Center. She has handled the problem twice for me in the past six months. Save all your tickets, boarding passes, etc., as you'll need to submit copies of them (or keep copies if you submit the originals). My mileage kept getting denied until Hazel got involved and figured out what was going on with the ansett codes.
