UA may have premium economy everywhere it goes on its owm metal, but AFAIK it requires changing to LH (or another *A partner) to go beyond Germany, and does LH have matching premium economy that UA elites can access??)
Exactly, united won't get me to dxb, unless this E+ upgrade works with lufthansa as well.

Fly United metal to KWI and for the 1 1/2 hour flight to DXB use Emirates and earn RDM's (no EQM's) for that flight. The schedule is very tight, so you may need to use another (Sri Lankan, instead of EK) airlines or have a longer layover.
