% of miles credited without need of a followup :
AA 100%
DL 100%
SPG 100%
Marriott 90%
BA 25%

BA generally requires a followup for any partner posting (except for Chase, SPG, and Diners) and every flight upgraded with miles. Shockingly (deliberately?) poor IT.

UA has frequently problems posting my US Airways flights... Maybe I should have been smarter and choosen US Air's program, as I travel US Air 10 times more often than UA. Oh well, locked into the program. ;)

Related question: Currently I'm following-up and trying to get a transatlantic RT from December posted to my US account (flew LH, boarding passes clearly show my US FF#, have sent both snail mail and email without response to date). Those miles are what put me over the threshold to preferred status.

If/when I finally get those miles credited, should I also expect the preferred status to get upgraded?

Follow-up question. If/when the status upgrade occurs will I also get bonus miles for the flights that I've taken since then?

On to my answer to the original question. In the past 6 months I have 15 credited segments and another 5 which have not yet been credited. 2 of the 15 required follow up before they posted. So 13 of 20 posted correctly. 65%

Not so hot.

UA online booking bonus is a 50/50 chance

UA online booking bonus is a 50/50 chance. So far none have posted on 2007

Also the 'print your own" boarding pass when flying on UX (Mesa) post about 75% rest require a phone call.

Im still waiting on an LA flight took in november from AKL-SYD in D (biz)... twice followed up and nothing... this is AA.

Funny thing is that when QF domestic flights dont post and I plug in the info through AA's website they show up ASAP... and once they even added a flight i never took... :D
