ExpertFlyer.com Question
Yahoo or CNN (I forget which) had an article about ways to get lower priced F or C class tickets, and recommended joining ExpertFlyer.com for $5 per month.
Can anyone confirm that this is a good way to achieve this result?

To the extent that EF is a good tool for finding fare availability in certain buckets (including those for discount premium tickets), it can certainly be used as a means to get lower-priced tickets -- but this functionality is really no different than what you could get from similar websites that don't charge the $5 per month, such as www.seatcounter.com.
The best functionality of EF (and the reason why I subscribe) is the ability, for many airlines, to see hidden buckets -- namely, upgrade and award classes -- that make it easy to see availability without making repeated calls to the airline.

I'd like to know what members on expertflyer.com enjoy most about the website. I'm a member of EF and mainly use it to check seat availability. I'm questioning whether to re-subscribe this coming year.
Many times the "C" seat inventory does not load for UA and this is what I want to see most.

I use EF most frequently to search for upgrade and award availability.

Not buzz related, so I'm closing it here.
