Anyway, back to the topic at hand,
From the Starwood site:
Qantas Airways
Starwood Preferred Guest members can transfer up to 39,999 Starpoints into Qantas Frequent Flyer points at a 1-to-2 ratio.
See:http://www.starwood.com/preferredgue...s.html?back=-1
Is this 39,999 at a time or annually?

SO in order to get the 5,000 SPG bonus on every 20,000 miles transferred we can only transfer 20,000 miles a day? Guess it will be worth the hassle though.

I dont think that you get5000 mile bonus on top of Quantas 2-1 bonus.
Can people comment on this. Is not the 5000 mile kicker for 1:1 conversions?

In another thread, William (Starwood Lurker) did confirm that the bonus would apply, and double the miles. ie, 20000 StarPoints = 50000 Qantas Miles

Can someone reply to the Nights and Flights II question? That is, can we use the 70K in Starwood points earned from this offer to take the Nights/Flights II deal? Thanks.

WARNING:
From experience, Starwood point transfer to QF take 1 month. They are not posted in a couple days to 1 week the way transfers to US airlines post.
So consider this point. 4-6 weeks (I think that is what I saw somewhere) to get the points posted to starwood from webflyer, plus another 4-5 weeks after they post to starwood to get them to QF, = 2+months from now before you have any QF points.
Just don't want to hear any moaning later when people are waiting longer than they want to for points to show up as has happened in some deals in the not so distant past...

Is there a cutoff date for purchasing the Insideflyer mags ? Sounds like good advertising to spread the mag to new readers .
