Fun With Flight Numbers
Have you ever noticed how the airlines make their flight numbers "fit" the places they are flying to? Here are some examples:
Northwest --------- Flight 777 MSP -> LAS. (Like 3 sevens on the slot machine payline) Flight 711 MSP -> LAS. (7 and 11 are pass line winners at the Las Vegas craps table) Flight 1776 DTW -> PHL. (Philly, of course, where the declaration of independence was signed in 1776. United ------ Flight 711 ORD -> LAS. (same as NW) Flight 1776 ORD -> PHL. (same as NW) Flight 1492 DEN -> CMH (Columbus). Of course, 1492, the year that Columbus sailed the ocean blue. Anybody know of any others? |
