Vons 125 miles per $250 spent promo
 

I just signed up for this deal. Since I can't get into the UA board this a.m. I thought I would post here. I did try but it won't open.

Anyway. If I have a Von's card and shop at a Safeway, will the dollars spent at Safeway count towards my $250 limit, also will it (safeway purchases) count towards the 3000 bonus points prior to August 31?

Also, can I sign up twice? I have a Von's and Safeway card (that I never use) and get both 3000 point bonus' if I spend $250 on each card by Aug 31?

Don't know about a Vons card at Safeway but my Safeway card at Vons has always counted towards the miles.

I have a dominicks card which has been giving miles for awhile. Do you know if this bonus is only for new sign-ups? only at vons?

Vons, Dominicks, Pavilions and Safeway are part of the same company - Safeway.

Besides belonging in the UAL thread - How long do these pennies take to Post ? haven't seen a mile yet

They seem to post the next month for me (Safeway). I'm now on my 22nd set of 125 miles. That's 2750 that I didn't have before. Too bad they don't take AMEX!

I've been using AMEX at Von's in Southern California for about four months now. UA MP Miles post about every other month, consistent with my wife and my combined purchases at the chain. Rather than swip the Von's card at check out counter, I key in home phone number.

I use my Vons card at Safeway in VA. I can also plug in my old L.A. phone number if I forget my card. I laugh when the safeway folks say oh we don't take that card (Von's) and I keep saying yes you do. Also the Safeway's in my area don't take AX. Von's did in SoCal which was nice.

At least at Safeway, the receipt always says on the bottom how much I have earned towards my next set of UA miles.
