One-way awards?

Do any mileage programs allow one-way awards? Specifically I would need one form BKK-PEK.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but the search functionality just times out my browser every time I try today.

Thanks in advance :-:

AA does but there is no milage break - same as a roundtrip

Well ideally, I was looking for something that would allow the award for less than the full amount of miles.

It's a "coming attraction" at AS. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=586915

Just not soon enough for all the flights I've been trying to book.

Personally, I'd rather be using AS miles to have folks fly AS than give cash to DL.

I agree it would be nice .....

Surely some program offers this, no?

BA does. Two years ago, we did one-way awards LHR-TLV on BA and TLV-MAD-ACE on IB using BA miles.

In the *A forum there is a sticky *A useful reference links. There is a link to a thread on *A FFPs that offer one-way awards, and how expensive they are (50%, 60%, 75%, etc of round trip cost). Apologies for not posting the link here - I'm just about out of time.

BA does one-ways for half miles

BMI (Star Alliance) does one-ways for half miles - and, of course, BMI also lets you book an award for half the normal of miles if you do a small co-pay - what a programme!

(Very handy, this, if you are UK-based as you can mix and match BA and *A availability)

LH does one-ways for, I think, 75% of the miles

Aloha and Hawaiian do for both Interisland and Domestic flying.

Can the BMI or BA one-way awards be used on parters e.g. Cathay, Thai, or Singapore? as I would need a one-way award from either BKK or SIN to PEK.

Thanks :-:

I used a one-way award with bmi to get a flight on a *A partner (LH in this case).

To add to the list, Flying Blue (AF/KL) also allow one-way awards for half the miles.

AC offers one way awards too on AC metal only I believe.

A short haul award which is 15000 miles for return, is 10000 miles for one way

Also, while NW and CO doesn't offer a discounted one way award, they do have very low mileage requirements for a RT ticket. NW requires only 20K miles (on NW metal only though). CO requires 25K miles (on either NW or KE metal). Availability isn't great however, given that there aren't that many flights.

BMI seems to require 15K miles for the award, and *alliance has lots of asian members, so that might be the best option.

One Way Awards- Merged

I have been trying to find out which airlines offer one way awards between US-UK but no luck. Searched O/W, One Way and "One Way". Anyone have any info? I'm not even sure where to post this, so sorry if this is the wrong spot. TIA
