Maximise SQ Points

Guys - Some advice if you can.

I currently use AMEX Gold Maximiser to accrue SQ points - 1.5pt each A$1 spend - convert at .5 when transfer to SQ.

Monthly spend is about A$25,000 / month - is there a better credit cards available that will earn a higher rate of points for me?

Also have an ANZ Rewards Visa - monthly spend about A$10,000 - 1pt each A$1.5 spend - convert at .5 to SQ.

I am only really interested in accruing SQ points - any suggestions on better cards I might be able to get here in Australia?

i believe Diners Club (Mastercard) AU now has SQ as a partner. not sure on earn rate.

Diners Club is the only other option in Australia, other than the two badboybilly mentioned.

With DC you get 1 reward point for every $1 spend. And they convert at 0.5 to SQ points.

So your best bet is to spend everything on your Amex, or if you get topped out on that, put it all on DC.

The ANZ is not a good way to earn for SQ points.

Thanks mate - problem is 'acceptance' of Diners Club.

There is no limit on the AMEX Gold Maximiser so I use it WHENEVER possible - but not all merchants accept AMEX - then I use the Visa.

And yes you are correct the ANZ card is less than perfect - but what 'better' options are 'available' to accrue SQ points other than AMEX - MUST be Visa or Mastercard me tinks.
