I have purchasd the necessary amount of subs from inside flyer to get the 125000 Quantas mles. Can anyone help me with the next step? The miles have posted to starwood, my husbands miles havent posted yet he bought 22 subs. The quantas on line says there are no awards available. We want to go JFK-LHR-rome-jfk on british air. the computer shows seats available. I have no status. We have 15k delta 5k AA and 0 on british air or quantas. P.S when my husbands miles post there are 22 free subss to give away, but my main point is a Dummies Guide to claimimg award tix http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

With the amount of people wanting award seats on Concorde I'd expect some trouble getting an award seat, certainly during high-season and around the end of the year. There are not that many award seats available per flight...

I'd suggest calling Qantas to see what they can do for you, although I wouldn't expect them to be able to get BA to release extra seats for them, if BA ever releases extra award seats it's for their own top tier members.

Call Qantas - they do not show seats avaliable for non-QF flights, so even if seats exist on the day you search with BA they will not show up - only Qantas Res can tell you if seats are free.
