5000 United miles for paying tax?
 


According to the latest 'inside flyer' email":

"No sooner had Visa made their announcement than United made one of its own: when Mileage Plus members use their Mileage Plus Visa credit card to pay taxes through May 30, 2002, they will receive 5,000 bonus miles in addition to the normal 1 mile per $1 in charges."

Sound's like a pretty outstanding deal...

I can't find any mention of this on UAL's website, or FirstUSAs ... does anyone know the details? Fine print?

Woops - by the way, this refers to paying one's tax via "oficialpayments.com".
