Best Western 60 nights this year = lifetime BW Diamond Elite. Its not the greatest program, but hey its a challenge and I am biting :)

Marriott offers lifetime platinum. Details can be found in several threads e.g. this one. Several lifetime Plats on FT.

There's also lifetime Royal Ambassador status with Intercontinental (which implies lifetime Platinum in Priority Club as well, provided RA status continues to come with PC Plat I imagine).

Starwood Preferred Guest doesn't confer lifetime Platinum... but you can receive lifetime Platinum status in SPG for certain high-end purchases with Starwood Vacation Ownership.

I used to think that continuing to hold an Amex Centurion card (I don't, won't pay the fee) meant lifetime Starwood Platinum... but the benefit has been cancelled.

5* elite in SVO, possess more than 559,000 Staroptions. = Plat as long as you do.

Thanks

Just to add to this, Marriott has lifetime status for Silver and Gold elite levels, as well as, their Platinum. The difference in attaining each of the lifetime elite levels is based on years of membership, total number of points accrued, and total nights stayed.

Note that this information is within the post that gleff gave. Just wanted to make sure this was clear to the OP. :)

My understanding with SPG's lifetime status is really not lifetime, but you'd have to actively participate in their SVO program.

You had me there for a moment - couldn't figure out what Sheremetyevo had to do with it. Now I see that it's not Moscow we're talking about.

Too early in the morning for me, I guess (or a bias that all three-letter capitalized references have to be to an airport) :D.
