JET BLUE should get the FREDDY

I know they dont have a FF prog. But after 9/11, they did everything they could to protect and secure its passengers both on the ground and in the air.

Yes they have a small fleet, but the point is they went out did what others are simply complaining about and all their birds will be in accordance to their standards.

So I say this year an exception should be made and the Freddy should go to JET BLUE for thinking of US(the flying public) and NOT just themselves(and their pockets).

I dont know if its possible since I didnt see where a write in could go, if its possible than how about a special award. They should be singled out since they did go out and do and not just talk.Would be nice if their CEO would be given an opportunity to address the diner.

No I dont have any share of the company, nor I have been fortunate to fly with them. Its just,Common Sense,IMHO.

What is service like on JetBlue? Is seat pitch any good?

In my opinion JetBlue's coach service is by far the best in the industry. They emphasize that they keep prices low by avoiding frills. But I've observed the following on several JetBlue flights:

-The service is quite good. On 7 of my 8 flights, the FA asked as I boarded what seat I was in and whether I'd like my bag overhead or under the forward seat. S/he then ferried my bag to the requested location.

-Food is quite good for coach. Granted, there are no meals. But the snacks are pseudo-premium and the basket is always passed around several times. Drink service and refills are prompt.

-Their brand new jets are clean and comfortable. I especially like the gray-ish leather seats.

-The entertainment screen for each seat is a nice bonus.

How are the seat pitch? And how many seats per row are they using? If 3x3, I assume the seat width is about 18" or so?
