Travel to Rome
Travelling to Rome in March. if I book on say Orbitz, Expedia or one of that type of site will I still get reward points with my airline?
|
In some rare cases it depends on the airline, but yes by and large you will get points/miles/kilometers even if you do not book on the airline's site. However, in many cases the airline's site does have the lowest possible fares.

Some examples: -- CO provides 100% RDM but only 50% EQM/EQP for discount fares not booked on Continental.com. -- AF has super-discount fares that only earn 25% in the Flying Blue program. In other words, do the research before buying the ticket. You may find that $50 means the difference between 50% and 100% credit. That incremental cost is usually a very good CPM deal. S. |
As this appears to be a more general inquiry about booking flights and getting miles, I'm going to move it to MilesBuzz.
