Mid-tier. Very standard mid-tier benefit, 100% bonus miles, usually plus some.

Mid-tier on int'l coach, any level with int'l premium cabin.

Low-tier. Frequency/difficulty vary by carrier. I'm low-tier on UA and I get upgrades *most* of the time I request them. (Granted, I pick and choose when I request them, but if I wanted to I could probably fly in F 75-80% of the time if I put in requests on every single segment.)

There is no such level. UA 1MM (BIS) is Lifetime Premier Executive. UA Global Services is something else entirely. And thank for not comparing HA Plat to these. That would be silly...no wait...never mind... ;)

Wait...you mean HA Plat only gets me benefits on West Coast to Hawaii? :confused: (And presumably interisland.) That comprises maybe 5% of my travel - tops. What about East Coast to Europe? Regular domestic US? I know HA has some partners...do any of them recognize HA Plat as even a mid-tier level for the purposes of access to their lounges?

It sounds to me like HA Plat combines a lot of benefits of low-tiers and mid-tiers of major carriers, with the huge caveat being that it doesn't appear to be recognized by any major worldwide alliance. So "pricing" it at 40k is about right...if not a little high.

Didn't notice any posts regarding successes on US metal?

Everywhere I look it's PREMIUM. Is there such thing as a saver award to HNL?
