I have been waiting for a bonus offer on the Starwood American Express. Recently I got a mailing on a regular American Express that with my first charge they will give me a $250 credit to my credit card. Apparently I must have pretty good credit.
However none of these cards will give me the miles that I want. Anytime I get a Miles card they never give me any kind of bonuses. |

I never sign up for a miles/points card without a bonus offer. For example, the Starwood Amex has a long-standing sign-up bonus of 6K up front bonus points after first purchase plus up to 6K additional bonus points for SPG syays in your first year (plus no annual fee in the first year):
