Latest FAA security regulations?
 

Does anyone have the link to the latest FAA airport security regulations? I did a search without any luck.

There aren't any. The FAA has not published any of the new directives as regulations. I guess from now on we're supposed to believe Norm Mineta when he tells us what the new rules are, and trust the idiots at the checkpoints when they tell us what the FAA has told them the new rules are.

Unpublished federal rules seem kind of unpatriotic to me.

Are we governed by laws or governed by men??

A government rule is not a "regulation" at all unless it is properly promulgated according to the procedures laid out in the Administrative Procedure Act. This is simply definitional. Properly promulgated regulations have the force of law.

Bruce, wasn't there a thread posted after 9/11 that listed the FAA guidelines for what was permitted and also items prohibited? I remember seeing a link on FT, and the search that I did couldn't find it.

They may even post them.

But nothing, and I mean nothing means the security folks have to read or understand them.
