Pennsylvania allows a lot of fees these days to be paid directly by credit card, no extra fees. I renewed my driver's license and car registration online. Quick, easy, painless, and I got oh, about 40 miles for it. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Raffy, you're the best! I've always just mailed in a check before. No more.

Glad I could help a few folks out with this tidbit of information http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

My recent renewal fee for my 1998 Toyota Camry was only $112.00. For that amount, a $4.00 convenience fee is a bit high. I would be buying miles for 3.6 cents per mile. On the other hand, it might be worth paying the CONVENIENCE fee just for the CONVENIENCE of renewing online! (I hate writing and mailing checks; most bills are paid automatically or online.)

Thanks for the tip.

Kathy Bill Pay with Schwab or many of similar pay your bills and mail the checks for you. They can be set up automatically for amounts that stay the same or for the others, you just log on, select the vendor to be paid and type in the amount. GOLDEN service.

Thanks, but nearly all of my bills are already automated. They are either drafted out of my bank account automatically, or charged automatically (when possible) to a mile- or point-earning credit card. And the credit card payments themselves are either automated or paid online!

By the way, all this can be done without paying for the service. It is arranged individually with each payee.

This was all somewhat necessitated by my long overseas trips.

Kathy
