Excellent news. If they pick up SLC next, I'll probably jump ship from UA.

That's probably why AS is offering to comp elite status to all UA 2P, 1P, and 1Ks.

Thank God! Those Mile-High fares need to come down a lot.

Now when is Southwest coming to DEN?

What effect, in your opinion, will this have on the fares? I'm not too familiar with AS even though I used to live in Seattle... are they a relatively fair-priced airline?

My take is that this may effect DEN-SEA routes, but the United price will still stay considerable because it is the hub.
