Dumb question on Internet Specials
 

I noticed that there do not seem to be many internet specials right now.

Do the airlines stop offering Internet Specials around holidays ?

Yes, because holiday travelers tend to be price-insensitive. If you need to travel, you need to travel.

AA isn't bringing back its NetSAAver fares until Jan. 6th.

I will wait until early January to book the next trip I was looking to book.

They are still out there, but for some reason the mailing list for some of the airlines is all messed up. For example, my wife received the United ones this week, I didn't.

The Delta Fan Fare came today, so if there is someplace you want to go check.

I did NOT get any of the special e-mail offers this week.
I think and hope AA, United .. will start again in the next week.

I sure hope so. I want to book 2 RT down to SJC sometime soon. My dates are flexible, just trying to find a cheap fare.

SJC for $109 RT from 1/9 thru 1/15.

I just went to the Alaska website, and they do not list any web specials. How do I get to this fare?

United's Domestic and International weekend fares, Delta's Ring in the New Year Sale, and US Airways weekend savers all came out today, so the fares are still around.
