Liquidating Points
 

Has anyone tried to redeem points for gift certificates, and then selling the gift certificates as a way to liquidate points into cash. Specifically, I am referring to turning HHonors points into any number of certificates (e.g. Ashford.com, Sharper Image...) Are there any rules prohibitng this practice? if not, can anyone suggest a site/forum to find a buyer?

Welcome to Flyertalk. Most programs prohibit selling or bartering of award certificates. Regardless of the rules, there is evidence that some sort of secondary market exists. You might snoop around Ebay.

These types of questions are traditionally relegated to the "S.P.A.M" board here on Flyertalk. I will move your posting to that board, to see if anyone else has some commentary.
