Diners Club fee
 

Last week I received my statement and was horrified by the $0.95 fee they will start charging in February.
So I called to cash on my point now and spoke with a rep in their club rewards department.

And while speaking to this rep I was checking what were the term and conditions of my reward program with amex…a 95cents charge every 1000 points still make diners more competitive than amex!!! In addition I called amex and realize (I’m in audit) that their handle time to take a call has DOUBLED since
they decided to terminate 15000 people!!!!

I’m kind of embarrassed now, since I don’t know what to do in Feb: I guess will use my point for their
Club rewards catalog and forget the miles…

There really doesn't seem to be much of a debate -- just a general flight from Diners to something more reasonable.

As Infinity mentioned, this is a Diners Club issue. So I will move this thread to that board.
