NWA Lounge Question
 

Does anyone happen to know if NWA still offers the daily lounge pass for fee option? I spotted several older postings here stating that it generally could be purchased directly at the lounge and that the cost could be applied toward the yearly membership. If someone has info on the actual cost of the daily pass for 2 people, I will find that info very helpful. Also, are the lounges open on Thanksgiving day? Thanks.

I think you can still do it for $40. To confirm, I'd suggest sending an e-mail through the nwa website. A couple of months ago I was traveling with some (3)colleagues and that was one more than they would let me bring in as guests, so I had to pay $10.

I can't really give you a direct answer about the day pass, but do know that they accept the American Express Platinum Card for complimentary admission. I use it regularly without any problem. BTW, which NW World Club are you hoping to visit? As far as Thanksgiving Day - I'm counting on them being open @ SFO as I travel on that day.

I am travelling from DFW to DTW and was hoping to visit the lounges in both places. Yes, I heard about the Platinum card, however, don't have one at the moment. My President's card expired on 11/1 and I am undecided on which membership to pick up. Thanks for the great info and happy holidays.
