Yeah - I ordered the Amex SPG a few days ago. Once that arrives, I plan to migrate as much of my spending as possible to that card.

I'm a little torn as to a second card to get. I'm thinking that UA or AA makes the most sense. But SchoFlyer brings up my concerns - that ANA miles or JAL miles might be much, much better for LAX-NRT upgrades. I'd like SQ, but I'm not sure I'd get more that a cursory pat on the back, let alone upgrades. And to add to the confusion, I often get discounted last minute fares that sometimes do and sometimes don't give me full miles.

Semi off topic - how lenient are AA or UA on changing return legs of international flights? I tend to do that a lot on ANA or JAL or SQ - ANA doesn't charge, JAL or SQ sometimes do. Their Japan offices are more accomodating than the US offices, though.

So, I'm back to AA or UA or the ANA Card maybe. JAL doesn't have a credit card outside of Japan. ANA only gives 5000 miles to sign up and UA seems to offer 20000 at the moment. Which AA card is the one to get?

Decisions, decisions.

Hap, Does US Airways work for you? I also have Starwood for personal expenses and AMEX for majority of business, however this year I have one significant vendor who only accepts MC/Visa. I chose the US Airways Dividend Miles MC for these purchases. For the first 12 months this card gives 1.5 miles/$ spent. I'll be getting an extra 250,000 miles this year as opposed to other airline cards. It's a great offer and may be a good alternative for the next 12 months.

Yeah - I was looking at that, too. I'm already with BOFA - should I just get their USAir card or the Juniper card? Which one do you have?

How is USAir in general? Haven't flown them in awhile.
