Anyone belongs to "Elite Rewards" program? (http://www.eliterewards.com)

Is it any good?

Not many details on the web site, but what's there is not impressive. 105,000 "points" (i.e., dollars spent) for a first class ticket between the US and Canada? 75,000 "points" for a first class ticket within the continental US? I am not impressed. I think you'd be better off getting a credit card tied to a specific airline program so your flying miles and charging miles go into the same mileage account.

My husband and I had this card before our Citi AA card and it was nice because of the low intrest rates but after they started hiking the rates, we bailed. The gift cert were OK but I missed my points...

Obviously the awards on this card are set for people who exclusively spend at the partner retailers.

Say for example you spend $50,000/yr. at OfficeMax. (I think they were on the list...) In that case, you'd get enough bonus points that the airline rewards come back into line with other home-grown points cards. I think. I can't really tell for sure.

The hotel rewards are laughable. Uh, if I want to stay at a No-tell Motel, I'll just dig the change out of the ashtray in my car and pay for the room, not spend 7500 points.

The merchandise/certificate awards are laughable, but that's to be expected. This card is totally and completely targeted at people who do massive volumes of spending on a single retailer (or maybe a couple retailers) that are on the bonus list.

And even then, I'm not sure you wouldn't just be better off using your SPG Amex.

As a general-spend card for an average user, it's a joke. A really bad joke at that.
