Be sure to register ALL your FF #'s

I'm flying DL next week (my only flight during the current double miles promo's). It occurred to me that I had not registered my FF numbers for the double mile promos with any other airlines. Knowing that there are times (rare, but they do happen) when I get bumped and rebooked on other airlines, I spent about 2 minutes this morning to register for the promo on all the airlines on which I have an account.

It may be worth your time to do the same!

Thanks Watchful. Good idea! It is better to have registered and not have needed to, than to have needed to and not have registered (or something like that).

By the way, you have an appropriate handle.

Just a start, I'm sure...

United

USAirways

American (and then scroll down- Promo DBLAA)

Delta

Northwest

Alaska

Continental

New Addition (10/19)
Starwood 1K per Day

I have registered as well. Keep in mind that AA told me it could take up to 48 hours for other agents to see in the system you have registered. Not certain if the same on other airlines.

Well, you do live up to your FT name. Thanks for the reminder Watchful.

Thanks for that -- I didn't know DL was offering a bonus and I flew them last week. Thankfully, their rules imply that they will award the bonus now...whereas AA I would have needed to register prior to flying.

I was in the middle of a RT to Europe when the AA promotion was announced. I flew back on an eligible flight before I saw the promotion and registered. When I called they told me if the flight had not posted before I registered it would double if posted afterward. I was lead to believe that under such circumstances, they would double it even if it had posted.

There is a promotion with Starwood where you get an extra 1K pts per day with restrictions etc.. I was in the middle of a Starwood stay and did not know until I returned home. I registered b/4 the pts posted (which just happened) and the 1K is not there. Similar things has happened to me with other promotion sin the past.

Watchful and Chexfan,

Thanks for this posting. I sent the link for this post to everyone I work with... they were so happy to have all this in one place.

Thanks again,

William
