Warning about MyPOINTS.com
 

I have used mypoints.com for sometime now. But I found out that mypoints.com sends your credit card info to third party companies if you click on there links from mypoints.com. One of the links I clicked on charged $79.95 on my card for something I didn't order. I called the cpmpany that charged the card and found out that they got the card info for mypoints.com as a third party link

When did you give mypoints.com your credit card info? I certainly have never given that info to them, and I don't know why they would need it.

I have done some shopping from link sites off mypoints.com. I didn't realize that mypoints could get my card info from that. Never gave mypoints.com my card info

It could have been from one of those "Free" trials for home repair club, shopping club, yada, yada, yada. You get alot of points, but if you don't cancel you get the charge from $79.95-$119.95.
I did a trial once and it was a total pain trying to cancel on the phone, as they have to try 4 or 5 times to keep you on the call. Go back and look on you card statement for a charge for $1 to the same outfit........
