Hi there,
Thanks for that link. Lufthansa has one of the highest charges at USD 8 per segment. What I would like to know is why taxes/cahrges on LH have gone up by so much more than that.

For example: (Using routes I use)
Before
London <--> Bucharest: Taxes & Charges were about GBP37. Now they are GBP 75.
London <--> San Fransisco: Taxes and charges were about GBP 56. Now they are GBP 99.

This really is kind of annoying...

Very interesting. You know, for some of those airlines to be charging a fee at all for "security" is just plain ridiculous. I've flown on some airlines on that list and they don't even have metal detectors in their airports.
