Is that for all airlines or just a few?

I was there on the 7th flying SEA-SNA on AS. I didn't check out the curbside check in but the security at AS was a joke! The alleged 2 hour wait to get through the metal detectors was maybe a minute. They closed one line and moved us to another so that the crew could go on break. Then they checked your ID and tickets AFTER you went through the MD. My friend put her purse through the xray and while they were checking it, the "security" man wanted to see her ticket. Of course it was in her purse. All this went on under the watchful eyes of the National Guard and the 3 cops who were sitting down by CJ Borg's while trying to keep awake.
