1,000 Free Hilton Points Right Now

I guess a majority of travellers and FT'ers are enrolled in the free HHilton program?

This might be common knowledge to a few of you, but it was not to me. Many of these boards are here to accumulate FREE points, and here is the best deal I've seen for a month

Dial up:

http://www.hiltonhhonors.com/profile/

and change ANYTHING on your profile .. tick a King and not 2 Queens, tick non smoking v/s smoking, specify high floor v/s low floor, and they give you 1000 HHilton points on-line. Do it twice "if you change your mind later" and they give you 2000.

Immediately.

UPDATE ... A few days later ... read the following. EVERYONE seems to be able to snaffle 2000 points in moments. If you are not a HHilton member already and sign up, it is 3000 points in moments. (1000 point signing up bonus - but you MUST use link above) If a husband and wife sign up, combine the points to 6000 (which is legal, others below have posted) that is a FREE Hilton weekend night right there it seems. All it will take you is a few minutes for that free night. What a deal - please read on!

And if you fly United Airlines you may be eligible for extra points bonuses running into MEGA points as a few have discovered.

Oz - do you happen to know if this is a new offer, or is it the one that has been going on for months?

James, sorry no idea.

Someone e-mailed me about another Hilton thread I was involved with before I went interstate last week, and as a "ps" suggested I sign up for this. I did a few hours ago, and like Minny above, the points were posted in 30 seconds to my account! Their speed is impressive at Hilton.

It only took me 30-60 seconds to complete it, and just in case it is something new, others might like to spend a short time logging in to check. If you completed it before, sorry for raising it, but seemed like a fast, great no-strings-attached deal to me!

James - I tried and they credited me with another 1000 in addition to the 1000 I gained in June.

Nice to see a lot of people here are getting some decent free HHilton points along with their coffee this morning.

nd nicer still to see it allows you to gain another 1000 if you already did it before. "Only In America"!

Sweet - this rocks! FYI I think US Airways & Hyatt have a similar thing going.

Not to sound paranoid but we might want to tone down the euphoria in our posts as I have heard rumours that some companies send spies in here to see what we're up to.

I also did it and got 1000 points.

When I tried to do it again to get another 1000 points, I got a polite screen which said that I already got the points and could not get any more.

O well, I tried. Better 1000 points than nothing!!!

Fly Boy .. no rumours - and when you talk Hilton you BETTER believe they "live" around here. Whole thread today was aimed at one staffer. I think your advice is very sound.
