I know you can buy them with your CC and it is consdiered a good (as opposed to a cash advance) but does anyone know if you can use the gift card to purchase money orders? You can have up to ten 1000 dollar cards per SS# so this could be a pretty good way to accrue some miles...

It's $8.95 per 1k, which is far too much to pay, imo.

There are much better deals out there.
