Unfortunately, your information about taking the challenges is out of date.

Any person who is not PLT or EXP may take the PLT challenge, regardless of any past activity, including previous challenges.

Any person who is not GLD, PLT, or EXP may take the GLD challenge, regardless of any past activit, including previous challenges.

This was changed about 4-5 months ago.

can you do this using canada3000?? from what i understand c3 flights count as q-miles for AA

also, has anyone been succesful in getting retroactive credit?
