Transfer everything to AA or keep in MR?

I have already transferred many miles into AAdvantage from Amex MR via TWA.

I keep wondering if I should transfer them all before the deadline [7/3?]?

I guess I have kept some points in Amex MR in order to not put all my eggs in one basket. Even though I travel almost always on American, I have traveled in Delta and Continental through MR points.

In some ways MR points offer you more flexibility, however, I live in Dallas where American is king.

Any thoughts?

Hands down, transfer as much as possible towards American.

1. If you accumulate over 1 million points, you will become gold for life.

2. Any new points you collect via your MR program can only be redeemed on the other airlines. (CO, DL etc.) You will have plenty of time to build that nest egg.

3. You live in Dallas which is king for American

Thanks for the reminder. Do we have confirmation that the transfer deadline is July 3?

From the Membership Rewards website:

"As of midnight EDT on July 3, 2001, TWA will no longer participate in the Membership Rewards program as a result of its transaction with American Airlines. This means that you may continue to redeem Membership Rewards points for miles in the TWA Aviators® Program through July 3, 2001".
