FF miles for online book purchases??

I need to buy a couple of books and I was planning on purchasing them online through either Amazon.com or BarnesandNoble.com.

Does anyone know of any way to earn FF miles through book purchases or of any available online $$ off or % off discount coupons?

Thanks http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Both of these recommendations come with caution (read in S.P.A.M. category).

Barnes and Noble - 2 UA Miles per dollar through the Dash Bar
Amazon - 1 US Mile per dollar through the Bonus Bar
Borders - 1 US Mile per dollar through the Bonus Bar

There may be others, but these are the ones I use.

Of course, purchasing with an affinity card or AMEX/DC will get one unit per dollar.

Update: ClickMiles is offering a 200 mile bonus for first purchase at B&N plus one mile per dollar. ClickMiles can be used on about any domestic airline.

Go through ClickRewards for your B&N purchase. There is/was a first time purchaser bonus of 200 miles. Also, there is/was a 750-mile enrollment bonus for CR. Check www.valueconsumer.com for coupons and affiliated shopping portals.

Just did the Barnes and Noble thing described. Haven't seen the points show up in my Mileage Plus account, but ClickRewards quickly showed that the transferred had happened from their end. One caveat, after I signed up at ClickRewards, it took a week for them to send me the welcome email which gave me the ability to access/use my account.

Also, check out the "News" link at http://www.mileageworkshop.com for an easy way to get more ClickMiles.

Use ClickRewards, Dash miles will take a very long time to show up, if at all.

Borders.com via NWA Mall is 4 miles/$1 through 6/30.

Thanks for the heads up. Do I need to register at the NWA mall or is this similar to AOLAAdvantage?

Too bad I don't really need NWA miles http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

If you are a member of MyPoints and are interested in Points then you can purchase thru BN.com thru Mall.com..

500 points for first purchase plus 2 points/$. They currently have double points deal going on..
