Flyertalk king of hospitality

Just wanted to publicly state my gratitude to pjaucutt for assistance and advice going above and beyond the call of duty in regard to my upcoming Paris trip.

His suggestions and help have given me lots of confidence as I prepare for this all important (personally) trip!

I think its a wonderful side benefit of the board that we all have taken the time to get to know each other a little better and help out and get together when possible (including this november).

And by the way, all you anglo-centrics (and you know who you are), not only has pjaucutt dispelled the prejudices you have asserted about the French (or even americans living in france part-time), he's turned me into a downright francophile :o) !

Thanks again, pjaucutt, and thanks flyertalk for making it all possible!!!

What a lovely post.

But anglo-centrics? Honestly! As my mother would say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Let us know if you are still a Francophile once you have been there.

I also think with a comment like that you should put your money in your mouth and fly Air France [the cheese is good, nothing else, but the cheese is good].

Now that would make for an interesting trip report ;-)

That is nice of you. If your concierge has problems making reservaations give me a hoot and I will make them for you.

Phil

P.S. Anyone else stopping by in Paris for the miles or perhaps the city ... give a line. If I'm around we'll do dinner or lunch.

We'll drink on that "worshipping" in your profile - somewhen/somewhere that's promised MATT - thank you.

I'll be in Paris the week starting Monday, may-24-99 (White Monday). pjaucutt already knows. This will be the first week of "Roland Garros" = the french tennis open.

Anybody else there?

I know that pjaucutt and me, we know more than 100 great french/Paris places (all prize categories) to meet/drink/eat/chat etc.

While I cannot be in Paris for the French Open, I have spent enough time there to know this:

A part of me is ALWAYS in Paris and Paris is ALWAYS with me.

Matt, you will have a marvelous time.

Happy holidays

Have a great time in MY paris Matt.

Onefreeman... you could not ahve said it any better about my "City of Lights."

Phil: When I get to Paris )hopefully as early as possible in 1999) I will look you up. I don't need encouragement to go there.

And Merry I'll look you up in Londontown and we can go laugh at Sir Richard and ANOTHER
failed balloon mission! CATMAN

Low Blow, my feline friend. After all, it is not whither success is gained, it is the honour of the attempt!

OMNI POSTING (THIS JUST FOR YOU RICHARD:)
Apologies to you Sir Richard and remember my
invitation to meet in NYC is still open!

And as I said I refuse to believe that it's the REAL RICHARD BRANSON until he meets me and greets me with the secret code word MEOW!
CATMAN

(I"m a little looped after being stranded because of the latest "STORM of the CENTURY"
in the Midwest!)
