Anyone heard of "Preferred Traveler" program?

I got some spam the other day advertising 2 free tickets or 2 free hotel nights if you sign up for their ($96/year) program of discounts. Of course, the first 30 days is free and you can cancel and keep the tickets, so I thought it sounded like a good deal -- get the 2 free tickets, then cancel.

I just thought I'd see if anyone else had any experience with this outfit before I give them a credit card number. :-)

The link to the offer was:
http://www.teamnova.com/encore/index.cfm?siteid=of1pr

and the email was from '[email protected]'.

I'm not affiliated in any way with this offer; just trying to find out if anyone else is, and if it's reputable. ;-)

holland, read the fine print about the "free" trip. Below is an alarming exerpt:

Receive round-trip airline tickets from select departures to a choice of one of the specific destinations listed within the vacation brochure that you will receive with your 2 FREE airline ticket voucher, provided the hotel accommodations are purchased through Vacation Ventures, Inc. (VVI) for the minimum number of consecutive nights stated. Please allow 4-6 weeks delivery time. Free airline tickets are provided through Vacation Ventures, Inc. Vacation Ventures, Inc. is registered with the state of FL as a seller of travel, registration no. 10077. Some restrictions may apply.
You have to book the ticket ahead of time only to where they tell you, book at their hotel (likely at rack rate) for who-knows how many days.

You need to wait 4-6 weeks for the voucher to arrive, but have only a 30 day window to cancel membership.

"spam" -- does that say anything more? (I really HATE spam.)
"sounded like a good deal" -- sounded like a deal too good to be true
