United Board Down?
 

I've been trying to access the United board for the last half-hour or so, and it times out...Is it my browser/server, or is anyone else have this same problem?

Everything for me is moving a little slow right now on FT, but my other website are as fast as normal.

I have been having the problem with all of the FT boards, and I am using ADSL. VERY VERY SLOW TO LOAD FT PAGES! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif No problem with any other sites on the net.

I've been trying on and off all afternoon, without success. The other boards have been slow, but they generally appear--UA keeps timing out. Maybe it's overloaded with posts from one or more UA FTers making up for lost time yesterday?

You can get to the UA threads by looking at today's topics at the opening FT screen.

Just have difficulty posting. I posted to see but was told it didn't post but I see there are posts (maybe mine) during the time I was posting.

I posted the problem with the United board in the Technical Problems forum. Randy's team seems to be quite good about monitoring that board. United is the board that goes down over and over and........ It's because it is the most active board with the most posts. But that means it is the most inconvenient board to have out of action. Pretty frustrating - for the tech team, I'm sure, as well as us.

Oh well, it looks like the UA board is showing zero posts now...

Maybe it's time to split the United forum into two sections: we could divide it btw threads started by Ozstamps and his aliases, and threads started by everyone else. This would solve my two biggest headaches right now http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Anyway, to change the subject back, the UA board is up now.

"The wit and humour of fallinasleep" would be about the world's slimmest book methinks.
